Flat round washer, with standard outside diameter.
A washer will help distribute the load applied to the parent material when fastening a nut or bolt. The distribution will reduce the of damage to the parent material and allows for increased torque to be applied to the fastener, thus reducing the risk of loosening.
It can also be used to aid in blocking an oversize hole.
Made to DIN125 specification, these washers are punched from 2.5mm thick cold rolled solid brass sheet, giving them superior strength and durability to many similar products, often made from thinner material.
