A traditional full bodied cut thread oval or raised head woodscrew made from fastener grade 97% copper silicon bronze with a traditional slot drive - designed to finish slightly above the surface of your timber/hardware. With deep well cut slots, these screws can be power driven with the correct size driver tip.
Silicon bronze has a rose gold patina when new or polished. If allowed to age, it will develop a red hued brown tone, akin to Florentine bronze, and is the recommended option for fastening Florentine bronze hardware.
Manufactured from silicon bronze, it provides outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion, atmospheric oxidation, and chemical exposure throughout its operational lifespan without requiring protective coatings or maintenance interventions — critical for marine installations, offshore equipment, and coastal infrastructure.
